Weekly Gatherings
We have traditional worship with prayer, hymns, Scripture, and sermons that are biblically based. We celebrate Communion the first Sunday of each month.
Outreach
Lunch is Served
Lunch is Served is a non-profit faith based ministry supplying lunches to needy persons all over the Sioux Falls Area. Volunteers are needed every Monday night and Wednesday noon. For more information, contact Lunch is Served at (605) 271-6161.
Fellowship
We offer weekly Bible studies as well as other fellowship opportunities. We have an active congregation filled with people who love Jesus and love one another, just as Jesus commanded.

Emmanuel Baptist Church, located in Sioux Falls, SD, is an inclusive American Baptist Denomination Church fostering spiritual growth through fellowship, love, and Biblical teachings. Our approach combines traditional worship with community outreach.
OUR MISSION STATEMENT:
The purpose of this church shall be the advancement of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ. It shall seek to attain this end through the public worship of God, the preaching of the Gospel, corporate and individual Prayer, consistent Christian living by its members, personal evangelism, missionary endeavor, and Christian education.​
Pastor Janice Thompson accepted her call to our church in July of 2026. We are excited to see where God leads us under Pastor Janice's leadership.
